God, whippets are stressful. Our poor Freddie had to have a major op on Monday. We have just found out that he had an "Intesussception of the Stomach".
Over the weekend he went completely of his food and was sick a couple of times. So on the Monday morning we took him to the vets, thinking he...
I suppose pedigree racing has now gone down the same lines as the "non peds" where the racing clubs are becoming just trialling clubs.
I also agree with Mike and Maggie, we attend most opens and championships and people from different clubs have become our racing friends and if i'm honest we...
Spot on Mike, something needs to be done and quickly. A club like Honeyhills who needs to make at £500 a year just to keep the ground will suffer, not many racers will travel to places like ours if they can attend opens and get their points in their local areas.
I still consider myself a newbie...
We have very kindly been donated some cameras and equipment (lenses etc) to sell with the proceeds going to the club. If anyone is interested please PM me for details.

This Sunday we had our AGM and the good news is that Honeyhills WILL be running again next year. There were a lot of rumours (gossip really) last year that we were closing. We will be holding our annual open with a possibility of a bend open later in the year. Thank you to all those who have...
Hi all, Honeyhills is up and running again this weekend. We are willing to do both straight and bend trials and straight racing. Every whippet/sighthound welcome, we're in Hockers Lane, Detling, Maidstone for all those who have not been to us before, we start at 10:30am.
Please call me on...
Sorry no results from me. Just wanted to say thank you to the Indi for an enjoyable day's racing. Well done to all the winners and finalists, there was some great racing throughout the day.
Got to admit we were panicking when we saw our heat, and were extremely happy to get through. In a weird...
Sorry Jac didn't know we had to do it twice and should of put it on here as well  . Well done to the girls as well, I know Edee did you very proud but Ayda was even better the way she upped a gear in the last 15 was great. Well done. With Fleur winning as well the Honeyhills dogs did...
Thank you for a great open we really enjoyed it, probably our favourite one of the year. Well done to all the winners. We were over the moon having both our boys in the main final. We called it the "crocks" final as all four have just come back from injury. See you all next year
