The vets have been rung. There is not too much they can do for Jess, so the advice for the moment is half an asprin and they will see her in the morning. I have a feeling Griff and Lisa won't be sleeping well tonight.
I am just on the phone to Parnew. It is late at night here, and his old girl looks like she has just suffered a stroke. Is anyone out there got any veterinary experience. Is it in Jess best interest to keep her comfortable till morning or should they be trying to find a Vets now.

Did you see today's Addy. The banner at the top read "Inverleigh could be the next Marysville". We border a dense state forest. It has been almost a decade without clearing. Our local CFA captain says "they would face a challenge holding ground if a 'big red steer" came roaring...
So true Graeme, this is why I posted them. At times we tend to take it for granted that the CFA is there when we need them, but we don't really put much thought into where these people come from. They just come from everwhere. There were over 7000 of them fighting these fires.
