I drive a lot of miles and like to listen to them, and dont get the time to read a book these days.

I have two young boys and I always watch them with the dogs.
As much as I trust them (the dogs) even the nicest of dogs will turn if the child, screams...
Back to the original question as I don't think you got any replies.
It is not unusual for a bitch to regurgitate food,
post birth this will be for the pups to eat when they are weaning.
You may find the pups lick the Dams face to encourage her to part with food.
At this stage it is possible...

This is most interesting topic we have had for a long time.
As it happens we have had many colours mainly brindles. We have also had our fair share of fawns aswell, it just happens that the brindles have done most of the winning for us.
We have had some very dark brindles...
