The taste of Fish in their feed is what they love. Have ordered some samples so thank you so much. I'd rather feed the boys the same feed as its easier and they like to switch bowls (why I don't know, sure they think the other bowl has something better in it lol!!!!) however being their ages...
Havent heard of this feed before. My old boy still runs every day, does take it easier when he feels he needs to!!!!! Bailey is the fussy eater with the sensitive stomach. Really helpful to know that is suits all your whippets especially as they vary in age too - thank you. If my boys lost a...
Thats really helpful - as they will have two meals a day I will certainly make sure they are both on the correct feeds for their age - thank you  will have a nose on the web now ;)
Hi everyone,
I'm sure there will be a complete mix of suggestions on this topic but I am in need of some advice on what to feed my two whippets. One is 3 years old and the other is 12 years old. They are currently on Science diet dry mix and meat but my younger boy Bailey has gone off this -...
OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there is definately no chance of me getting another whippet on that basis :teehee: :teehee: I thought it was down to the whippets being thoroughly spoilt with collars, blankets, beds and coats, more coats and more coats (w00t) Bailey has contributed to the insurance...
I hope Molly recovers quickly, its horrid when they're not 100%.
Rocky my old boy who is nearly 12 yrs keeps going lame on his front leg, after a number of trips to the vets over the past few months (been sound and then lame different times) I honestly think rest is the best thing, injections...
That is horrendous news, really hoping your two whippets will be found and returned back to you - this must be devasting for you. Thinking of you :luck: :luck:
Poor little Blue, you must be so worried. Glad it went ok at the vets and really hope his swelling goes down really soon, must be so uncomfortable for him. Initially I thought from what you said and the pics it could have been a bee or wasp sting - but a spider bite, how horrid for him. Lots of...
Oh bless her little heart, she is utterly stunning - hope she finds her FOREVER home really soon, she is looking smashing  just look at those eyes - scrummy delicious
Tubigrip now that is something to consider. Bailey is being really brave and charging around still, not depressed thankfully. No nail to be seen, he has managed to snap it so high up, makes me cringe!!! My vet had said its a major op (like a thumb being removed) but if he keeps breaking them...
Its amazing how all whippets are so different. Some just love playing with other whippets, chasing balls, to others that just love the chase especially when a bunny appears - certainly keeps them fit and burns off the energy like nothing else he he!!!!
Thank you. Bailey is far from a show dog as he has had so many ops and scars!!!!! I think he's too old to have them off now but if it was recommended I would have it done but so far the vet has said no. I take it Dylans op when well when he had them removed - I didn't realise whippets are...
Hi Everyone,
Bailey is 3 years old, absolutely smashing boy, full of life HOWEVER bless his little heart he has now caught his front dew claws numerous times over the past few years and he did it again last night. Took him to the vets as he had completely cut his nail in half, kept bleeding on...
