I'm so sorry to hear about your awful experience, I can't begin to imagine what you must have been through :huggles:
This is the whippet girl who's with Many Tears, She sounds lovely. She's fostered near Swindon:
There is also a male whippet, I imagine from the same home, who is fostered...
When you say bullying is the pup being aggressive or just badgering the old dog to play?
At 17 Jess really deserves some peace and not have a pup bothering her all the time. Personally I would crate-train the pup so she can go in her crate with a kong and some toys when you are out and for some...
Oh bless him, he's gorgeous. Thank goodness he's safe and in a loving home now
Eve's advice about slow and steady weight gain is spot on, if he's been starved his stomach will have shrunk and he won't be able to cope with large amounts so you need to build him up gradually with small...
He has improved a bit, he's having less problems getting up in the mornings now, but is still doing the crawling and screaming at night sometimes. Worryingly his fosterer thinks he is also tender in the pelvic area, he's cried a couple of times when she's pressed down slightly on his hips :(...
There is a picture in the Daily Mirror. Both dogs were only youngsters and both were wearing leather collars.
**Warning - this is very distressing**

Whoever did this didn't just want rid of the dogs, they enjoyed the cruelty and...
Have you got posters done? It really helps to get them plastered all over the area, as well as contacting the Dog Warden and all the local pounds, rescues and vets.
If you haven't already contacted Doglost that would be a good start, they can help with all of this and with general advice.
I...
Meg:
I must only bark at things that are genuinely exciting, not at anything and everything that moves ever whether it has anything to do with me or not. People in hats do not qualify as genuinely exciting
Taz:
I must remember that my mum isn't particularly keen on dead things being...
Bob had his x-rays, which showed nothing but at least ruled a few things out. The next step is to get him up to Bristol for an MRI scan - fingers crossed that gives us some answers!
Lots of continued good thoughts for her Lisa, she couldn't be in better hands than Gap's :luck:
C'mon Eve, you have a lovely life in front of you, keep fighting baby :huggles:
Eve is a tiny black whippet bitch who was recently taken in by Greyhound GAP, very thin and neglected, but a really sweet little girl.
Unfortunately within a few days in her foster home she became unwell, and has since been confirmed as having parvo. She is now at the vets fighting for her...
I know it's not that clear on the video, but from what his fosterer says I'm pretty sure it's not behavioural. It definitely hurts him to stand and he sometimes screams at the moment when his legs straighten. Also he sometimes collapses again and it takes several goes to get him onto his feet...
I know that moment when they disappear off at top speed and you wonder if they are ever going to come back only too well........ :o
My old greyhound girl used to do it, but would just zoom round the field in a massive circle then come back to me. The big worry was that she might see a deer...
If her problem is 'just' food aggression that can be worked on and can certainly be managed safely, but of course any new owner would have to be aware and prepared to take this on.
I've taken on several dogs over the years who were aggressive/defensive around food initially, and all of them...
David Hancock's records show that he was sold as a pup to a 'Mr Jones in Wales'. Unfortunately that doesn't narrow it down much :p
I know what you mean about being taken with him, he's got something quite special about him. Everybody who has met him has fallen for him
Thanks so much...
