Hello leashedForLife,
Your description of that heat, made my toes curl - I would have to sit in a fridge! At least, presumably you have air-conditioning indoors, but yikes the temperature barely changing from afternoon to early hours!! I don't suppose you would see many people dog walking...
Hi Joanne,
In the freezer department at 'Pets at Home'. Several in the pack, reasonably priced. The Pack reads: Raw Chews - Duck Necks.
If you should buy them, let me know what you (and your dog) thinks ....
Hi leashedforlife,
You sound very committed to biking with your dog, and more importantly you are savvy with all the necessary requirements that your dog will enjoy the experience with you. I do feel concerned that people are aware of resting their dog, (particularly when he/she is attached to...
Hi Joanne, I have also started giving mine a chicken wing, but now mainly give a duck neck - have you tried them? They have a good meaty content on them too.
Hello arealhuman,
Interesting that Sainsburys was on that Top 10 List. And you too have heard Animal Friends are a little less than ideal!
Appreciate this, Thank you
The following were 5 of the 'Top 10 Pet Insurers' - Do you use any of these, or a different organisation? - Would you recommend?
Thank you

Hello Joanne and dogmatize,
Appreciate your replies. I suppose I just wanted to know that the coat of a maltipoo does not have to be curly or straight. As you have said being a mix this puppy is probably quite normal to have a yorkie looking coat.
Grateful thanks to you both
Hi Members,
Anyone here know anything about Maltipoo. In particular their coat types. Main question - can a 12 week old puppy (mum a toy poodle and dad a maltese) have a coat that is not curly, but a little like a Yorkie?
Hope someone can advise.
Thanks
Just wondering how often you brush your dog's teeth and which dog toothpastes you use?
I have used Beaphar, but currently using Virbac - which seems pretty good.
Not keen using the malt flavoured ones, as they tend to be gooey and sticky!
Have seen one brand though on Viovet called...
Practical sense when extra cold.
I think there is a line between apparel on a 'companion breed' of dog that can look rather cute, but not to look silly and feel sorry for a dog over-dressed up!
Hi there,
What breed of puppy is he? (Is he a GSD by any chance)? Could I suggest adding some natural live yoghurt to his food. It corrects the bad bacteria in the gut. It may help and certainly worth trying. (Make sure it is not flavoured, just simply natural and bio).
Good wishes
Thank you, yes I can read. If the "crate training" is based on main use at night-time, then the suggestion is to counter this by occasional use during the day, with husband going out of the room, to enable to dog to accustom himself to the situation at any time, and of course therefore at night...
Hello, May I suggest that you pop him into his crate for a short time occasionally during the daytime. This hopefully will enable him to be accepting of being in his crate away from either or both of you, and is less tiring for you to help him learn and accustom to, rather than only do at bedtime.
