I have entered Midland Counties with my two and at the moment I think that I will be going by myself (could change though). How big is this trolley thing?
If I do get there and if it isn't too huge, then I can bring it back for you - I only live in Paignton which is no too far away.

VERY relieved to say that Woody is a bit brighter today - still very lethargic but has managed to eat just a small breakfast which has stayed down (and in!!). Am sure he will soon be bouncing about again as normal
Thanks everyone for your tips to try and tempt him to eat.

Thanks for the suggestion Vanna - so far I have managed to get 1/4 of a Rich Tea biscuit and a microscopic bit of turkey down Woody's throat so hopefully by tomorrow he will decide to eat again. At the moment he is laying on the settee and passing the most foul smelling wind - think I will have...
Woody is still pretty poorly. Although he has stopped vomiting since having a jab at the vets, he is steadfastly refusing to even think of food - not chicken, turkey, fish or eggs (not all at the same time - just trying to tempt him to take at least one bit of food). Has anyone else any...
Just to say that I have had Woody at the vets as he started passing blood as well as still vomiting. His temperature is normal so it does seem more likely that he has scavanged something disgusting rather than picking up a virus at the show. He has had a couple of jabs, got a course of...
It may be a co-incidence but Woody (who was at the show on Saturday bright as a button) started vomiting last night and is really feeling quite poorly today. It is much more likely that he scavanged something yesterday which has upset him and once it passes through his system he will be fine...
If anyone is going to the South West Whippet show on Saturday and needs a photo taken for the bi-ennial, see Louise Tope there - I can recommend her!!

So very sorry to read this as all of us were hoping for a much better outcome. I know it will not help you much at the moment but believe me, it is far better that you have found her so you can put her to rest and know what has happened. Not ever knowing how you have lost a friend is gutting...
Just heard that Reena Clark (who used to show whippets a few years ago) has won the hound group at Birmingham with her saluki champion. I think she said that Kraka came 4th in the group but she was so excited that she really wasn't making much sense!!

I am hoping with all my heart that you find her safe and well. Having been in a similar position, I know only too well the feeling of helplessness you will be suffering.

Yes, he is mine. I bought him from from his breeder, Gill James in Wales. Her affix is "Drakesoak" so all dogs with their names starting with Drakesoak have been bred by Gill. I am very proud of him - he is doing well in the show ring and LOVES lure coursing although we don't manage to do...
Height is another rather contentious issue - perhaps this should be continued in another thread as I am sure it will generate a lot of comment!!
Wish you all the best with your new black pup.

Vanna,
Definitely top show quality cos I would expect to make it up in 3 straight shows!!! Would prefer a dog please but would be happy to have pick of litter no matter what the sex was. Thinking about it though, perhaps a skyblue pink with a dash of yellow would be more appealing to all...
