My shiba bitch is like that with clippers but I sandpaper her nails now . I stick a strip of sandpaper on a piece of wood and she lets me sand away no problem at all .

Hi Jon, It calmed my shiba the first day but from day two onwards he got more and more jumpy and agetated at the slightest thing . A friend of mine had exactly the same response when she tried it on a young Shiba bitch who was ring shy . A DAB diffuser is a plug-in which gives off pheramones...

Hi Jon, We used them some years ago on a nervous Boxer and it made her even more agitated and hyper . Years later I tried it on my male Shiba who is very nervous of loud noises like fireworks and clay pigeon shooting and I got the same results as with the Boxer . As it built up in his system...

Calendula complex is great too as it is an anti-inflammatory . Just put a few drops in cold water and bathe the feet and dry naturally . You can also get it in creme form but I found that they want to lick it off before it soaks in fully. It's also great for prickly heat in humans .

My two were on Nature Diet for a while and loved it but then the consistence of the food changed slightly and they never seemed to be satisfied with the quantity they got after that even although I still gave them the same amount per day . They were always mooching about looking for more food ...
