May I please ask where you got the dogs from ?
If they came from a rescue centre it may be an idea to contact the centre and explain your situation I'm sure they would only be too happy to help you with some training advice.
You may be able to take the dogs back there for an assessment with...
With vaccinations and boosters we must also take into account what is stated in our dogs insurance small print. Some require annual boosters to be made and some go with what the vet requires/recommends.
Please make sure you know which and dont void the pets insurance through not getting them...

Maybe put a ticking clock in the bed with her to simulate the mothers heartbeats.
Do you take her out for toilets before bedtime ?
When is she fed at night ?
Do you keep going to her when she crys ?
Sadly this is an issue which comes up time and time again for us Staffy owners, although Rocky is a Staffy cross he has been attacked by other breeds of dog on more than one occasion.

Wouldn't have a clue what it would have been, the only thing I carry when out walking Rocky is a can of compressed air which gets blasted in the air if another dog decides to get aggresive with Rocky, it's just a loud noise that acts as a distraction.

Rocky is from WoodGreen Animal Charity in Cambridgeshire and hubby and I would have no hesitation in returning there to adopt another dog.

The amount of exercise would depend on the age and health of the Jack Russell.
Would normally suggest 5 minutes of walking per month of age to start with, ie 3 months old = 15 minutes of walking, 2 - 3 times a day.
