Ooooh I love the brindle  My pups due next week are from brindle parents so I'm hoping there'll be a brindle or two in there as well :D But if not then so what....as long as they have wet noses and waggly tails is all I'm bothered with
You sound exactly like me hun :D Neil was adamant we were getting an adult border collie bitch next year but I said NO!!!!! It's a whippet or nothing!!!! They are just THE most fantastic loving, beautiful, graceful, perfect breed in the whole world and I love them SO MUCH!!!!!
I am so pleased I saw this thread as I'm getting *fingers crossed* two whippet pups soon and I was going to ask how much exercise they should (and should not!) have in their first year. This has put my mind at rest. My two aren't even born yet....due next Tuesday and I'm as hyper and excited...
Gorgeous pics  They look VERY smart in their new posh coats
Diva has a gorgeous dark red coat but can only wear it for the first few minutes of her walk. After she's been charging around looking for rabbits under hedges and through long grass her coat tends to work it's...
 And here's me feeling like a Bad Owner because Diva will often spend all night in bed with me (8 hours or so) and then get up at 7am for a walk across the Pastures before I go to work and then she's back in bed with Neil from 8am until 4.30pm :D
I was actually WORRIED that she was...
AWWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwww how gorgeous is that wee kitten
Neil and I both love cats as much as dogs and I would LOVE to bring home a kitten or two but after seeing how swiftly Diva dispatches rabbits I think I'd be VERY nervous about bringing even a full-grown cat home. :(
As I was...
Yours is the Gypsy I thought the thread referred to  I thought to myself ''Oooh a chance to sneak a naughty whippie away whilst owner is mad at her'' :- "
Gypsy and Diva would make a lovely matching pair :huggles:
Awwwww I need my settee to look like that!!! I've already got the black 'un :- " Just need to sneak another one or two in without Neil noticing
Great news  If he'd been a touch closer I would have had him like a shot! Neil prefers bitches but I DO have a soft spot for my boys.....and I'm sure Little Miss Attitude would prefer a brother too  :- "
He IS gorgeous  Whereabouts is he living - which part of the UK?
I'm sure Diva would move over a little bit in her crate to make room for him :- " And if it WAS a bit of a squeeze then I'm sure Mummy could sneak in a bigger crate without Daddy noticing
These crosses/mongrels are NOTHING to do with wanting to create 'healthy' dogs but everything to do with numpties jumping on the 'designer breed' bandwagon and making a quick buck whilst the trend lasts
In a year or two will we be hearing about chihuahua X cavaliers who have slipping...
 I've had a wee chat with Missus Diva and told her that I really don't ike her catching rabbits so she promised me she would give that hobby up...

.....tho' I'm sure the little minx had her paws crossed when she said that! (w00t)
Seriously though, I've always...
It DOES look a long journey and, to be honest, I'd be much happier with a closer holiday - Scotland/Yorkshire/ perhaps even Wales or Ireland :- "
Neil was saying last week that if we take our time to drive down and break it up for Diva and probably stay in a Travelodge or something similar on...
The big bed on the bottom is a Danish Design bed and the top one is just a sort of quilt bed which I picked up in my local pet shop :) Diva loves to be UNDER something and this past couple of days she's taken to scratching around and burrowing herself underneath the lighter quilt :lol...
Ooooooh I DO like that blue boy, second pic, Sham Shally  And that black & white bitch is the image of my Tina :b And that brindle.......
Neil will KILL me if he sees me looking at puppies  I'm sure he doesn't believe me when I say I'm 'only' window shopping...
