I've never understood how someone like me who has only ever home boarded on a one to one basis has had to have a very in depth licence to do so, yet the above scenarios go on...and on...
My mum always used to warn me about letting ladybirds crawl on my hand because they bite! I got bitten by a tortoise once, it actually 'chased' me (I was only little), and left a triangular shape bite in my foot...another random child hood memory!!😂
I've been out on my scooter a lot more recently and I can say absolutely there are more flying bugs around this year as they keep hitting me in the face or eyes at speed!😂

Amazingly no roof rack! She was a convertible, but we had a hard top for her. I'm not quite sure how we did it to be honest!😁
The boot was deceptively deep, I think it was the 2 girls in the back with one dog(a long legged staff cross, so not small:rolleyes:) in between them, one had the ferrets...
When we used to go up to the in-laws ( kind of a holiday), our ferrets had a holiday cage up there so always came with us😁 plus Jake of course. Two dogs sometimes, two ferrets, two kids and two adults and all our stuff, packed into a triumph herald. Happy days!

I think you have to remember as well that she has come from Romania, everything here is new to her, sights, smells, even the language! 3 weeks is no time at all, have patience and allow her time to build her confidence by showing her you're listening, as joanne says above.
