Alfie was back at the vets in St Monans today for his final check up (it's just over six weeks since his operation). It went really well - the vet said he has made excellent progress and he is really happy with the way the bones have healed. It was great to see the x-ray today with everything...

Ian has made a 'snuggle zone' in the living room for Alfie (just to give him a wee break from his crate when one of us can sit with him and make sure he doesn't move about too much). It's going down a storm: He's off to the vet's tomorrow to get his dressing off.

Alfie was having a mad five minutes this evening, just like he's done hundreds of times before, and he took a flying leap off the bed and must have landed badly because the next thing I knew he was screaming and his front left leg was at a horrible angle :( Poor wee man still managed to wag...
