It was a glorious day with bright sunshine and temperatures in the low twenties, the Independent Bend Open took place on the 7th of September with 4 weight groups running round the 240 yard bend, plus veterans running over a 150 yard straight. Many thanks to Ray for constantly watering the track...

We had great racing at the Independent today with the club dogs running either on the bend or straight. Both tracks were in excellent condition and the weather was kind with just a few showers. 240yd Bend results: Heat winners: Flash Back, Enfys, Zula Go Quick, Shropshire Lass Semi winners...
