Hi Meddling, I will try and get some more pictures up soon (when I can remember how!!).
Is TC still around? I don't think I've seen any posts from her.
Austin isn't so black anymore :( He's going grey on the edges :(
Also he unfortunately got bitten by another dog at the weekend...
Hello, I've been away from here for a long time as I have been really busy. I changed career and am now a Teacher!!
I thought you would like to here how Austin is getting on for those who remember him.
He is now 4 years old and the best dog in the world! We have been taking him to gun dog...
Lytton Lawn in Milford on Sea (sister site to Shorefields). Actually in the New Forest but a lovely clean site with a small dog walking area.
Not sure what a touring caravan is, but they allow caravans and tents.
I knew there were inherited problems with some breed like labradors and breathing problems with pugs etc but I didn't know that it was that bad for cavaliers and GSDs. Those poor dogs. :(
I have a registered pedigree whippet. I chose the breed as it was one of the only breeds that we liked...
Sorry, I've downloaded them to my laptop at home, but I too was too lazy to upload them here!!
Don't know what camera they had, I could ask if you really want!
I didn't think his legs were mean to bend that way. :x
On sunday Austin and I met up with some friends and their dogs.
One of them had a fantastic camera and got some brilliant pics of Austin.
We were out for almost 2 hours and the whole time Austin was glued to the side of Wellie the spaniel. And when he wasn't glued to his side he was showing...
Thanks for all those different photos, that's a great help!! :D
Shall I ask the ebay shop if you get any commission?
Yes try 3!!
The fleece one does look a little comfier, but I am sure Austin will chew it!
At least they look big enough to put his duvet in too.
Aww, squished whippies...
What is it with the stuffing in these beds? They always go horrible after washing.
I'm glad you think they're worth it, It's always difficult when you buy stuff off the net without seeing it (made that mistake before!).
I think we'll be buying Austin one tonight.
Was it the normal one or the fleece one?
I think Austin would try and chew the fleece one.
Is the bottom part fairly well padded and good quality, or does it get thin quite quickly?
We went to pets at home last night and took austin with us so we could check out the sizes of the beds they had on offer and decided not to get one as the fabric looked and felt like it would tear/rip fairly easily. So little teeth would be able to get the stuffing out fairly easily! :lol...
That looks great. But unfortunately I can't afford that much at the moment.
Our pets at home has a sale on some of their beds so we can get austin one for about £20. I was just wondering if I could get more for my money on the net.
Austin already has a snuggle bed which he loves, but he is tempted to give it a little chew if he isn't actually sleeping in it!!
So he has a different bed in the kitchen for over night.
But on the tiled floor he does feel the cold. He likes to be wrapped up so he has a duvet that we...
