Hi guys, sorry not to have posted here in forever and apologies for the gross nature of this post ... don't read on if you're eating :x
The post title says it all. We've tried most of the generally advised things, the boys are rarely outside alone when toileting, but Griff, who has always had...
She's seen it now! Honestly a girl (emphasis on girl there ;) ) can't turn her back for a moment! Trac, do I have to get babysitters in for you from now on if I go out for the day?!
I now have practice details for Sarah Smith Cardiology Gillian. They are at Etwall, Derby, and phone number is 01282 733766, should thta be helpful to anyone :)
Thanks Jo. I don't think he does have a heart problem - most likely diagnosis is either Petit Mal, or 'just one of those things' - but I'd never forgive myself if I didn't get his heart checked.
Thanks, and I totally agree. In fact I'd be surprised if this dog turns out to have a heart problem, a lot of whippets are disgnosed with heart murmurs by non specialists when in fact their hearts are just fine. But as he collapsed at the weekend (the syncopal episode) even though he recovered...
I have a whippet who *may* have a heart problem - one syncopal episode and the possibility of a slight murmur at auscultation - and am looking for recommendations re. a veterinary cardiac specialist who also specialises in running dogs please. I don't want to see someone who is not au fait with...

I'm still here on and off. And I'm still as friendly and as helpful as I ever was. But frankly I don't really see the point of posting any more. It was Finn's birthday yesterday (4th) and is Griff's today (1st) and once I would have covered K9 in whippet pics on a weekend like this. But a...
Having met this little chap I can vouch for him being an absolute poppet  And he's really landed on his paws with Ali and Ben. He's a happy chap and not unhealthy, he just needs lots of feeding up and loads of cuddles, which he's not averse to asking for by plonking himself in your lap ...
What an awful thing to have happen, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I know Jane at Scruples has always been very anti placing dogs in homes where there were horses on the premises or in close proximity for precisely this reason.
My concern re. finding a new friend for Monty would be that...
Missed this. Clair you've mentioned all the people involved with Molly's rescue but the real star is the person who has guaranteed Molly a lifelong loving home, you ! I hope you, Joe, Blue and Daisy have very many more Rescue days and Gotcha days to celebrate with Molly in the years to come x
