It's definitely complicated, but I doubt John Hurt is the new going forward Dr, just a bit of a blast from the past. I haven't got a clue really, but they are certainly keeping us guessing. Jenny

As I understand it John Hurt is going to be the Dr before Christopher Ecclestone and he was a bit of a baddie, although I'm never 100% sure I know what is happening at the best of times with Dr Who. Jenny

Please take your dog to see a vet as soon as possilbe. At 12 years of age it could be a number of things, he needs a physical examination. Jenny

I am concerned because both these breeds have known health issues. What I should have said was that as the poster seemed to be comparing the cross to the Dogue, then why not go for the purebred Dogue so that you could be sure of what your dog would look like and what size it might be. Jenny
