We have no choice but to go in catalogue order. I think every country in the world goes in catalogue order - at least I know several countries that do. Makes life easy for spectators and stewards as our numbers run in order too. Found it difficult to find the number and if it was turned the...

    Windsor Results

Nope : ( I was pretty busy trying to get a pic of every dog so was concentrating hard. John, Anne-Marie and Pam were up the other end of the ring. I do so wish dogs came into the ring in catalogue order. Would make it easier for us visitors. Cheers

    The Peperone Kennel

Lana, you can write to your controlling body about the use of your prefix in any registered name. Not allowed. My neighbour / friend has Border Collies. Her young bitch was doing very well in the showring when she received advice to return her registration papers as another breeder had lodged...

Sorry, just catching up with lists. Roma's accident was in the UK and she required surgery to her neck. We were very sorry she was unable to make the trip but understand and sincerely hope she makes a full recovery and is able to come and judge our dogs next year. Cheers Toni

    2011 Shows

Hope someone can assist. Just starting to plan our trip to the World Dog Show in Paris next year and was wondering if there's any major shows on in the UK worth visiting before or after the World Show? I know there are some shows in Stockholm but thought I'd check out what else is on. Thanks...

Hi all If you're coming to the Easter shows and haven't entered, please get your entries in asap. As you know, I have to type up the 3 gen pedigrees, and then get it printed so if all the entries come at once, I go a little crazy. (w00t) Here's the schedule again...

    Goodbye Australia

Rush, (Ridgesetter Pacific Blue) arrived safe and well late last night into Auckland and then had a drive home with his new owner, Nicky Sill of Rushndol Whippets. He's been outside to meet his new family this morning and helped Nicky type a message to me. It's always a relief when you know...

    Goodbye Australia

Yes, a Cooper and Blue (Ch R. Hope N Glory IID) baby. I used Cooper over 2 unrelated and different bitches but in both litters, got gorgeous males. I found this quite interesting. And Blue being half American was a whole new ball game. Having trouble deciding on the girls. Might post the...

    Goodbye Australia

Well our little man left this morning for his final vet clearance and then he's off to the airport for his trip to his new home. :( He wasn't happy this morning. Separated from his sisters, a bath, nails done and then kept inside so he wouldn't get dirty. And the look he gave us when we...

    Whippet Club Nsw Easter

I have replied to those who have written to me that we are still awaiting formal approval from ANKC. We have approval for our Easter Sunday show but as we have an international judge for Good Friday, that requires ANKC approval. I won't post the schedule until we have the official approval...

2010 Oz & Nz Show Results

Elie's proud because Laser got two CC's against competition and 2 Minor Puppy Groups from his first 2 shows this year now he's in Minor Puppy. I'm always scared when a youngster does so well and worry that the legs will fall off or something else happen! Hopefully, he'll follow in his mum's...

2010 Oz & Nz Show Results

Hopefully 2010 will continue the way it started. Laser (Ridgesetter Carbon Copy) won 2 CC's and 2 Minor Puppy In Groups at his first shows with the big boys. Naturally, at 6 months, the girls went BOB and RUBOB but we were still very happy. 2009 was a hard year for us. Two whippet litters, a...

Hey Lana, it was mentioned to me the other night that your girl may have won Whippet Rising Star for 2009???? I know the points aren't final yet but it was the owner of No. 2 who mentioned it. Thought I'd get in early. Congratulations.

2009 Oz & Nz Show Results

To be honest, I've always felt they were genetic, however, Electra has not produced any in 4 litters, other siblings of Blue have not produced them, so I don't really know. I had a disaster RR litter with tail defects and was told a similar thing about heat during early pregnancy. An overseas...
