no not keeping both, may not keep either, depends on how they turn out. I have excellent show homes waiting, may put the bitch out on breeders terms but I'm really not sure on anything yet. Both would have to be hideous not to be kept for at least breeding.
not sure yet, they are still very blue but around their ears it looks different so maybe blue fawn
They are little porkers and on track to double their birth weight by about day 6
Fern has taken over latrine duties now so I can sit back and watch :D
we have a boy 570 grams and a girl 530 grams, both white and blue or blue fawn, not sure yet. Fern has come through okay, letting them drink but that's about it for now. I have resorted to putting tin cat food on the pups to encourage her to lick them. This message has taken over an hour to...
Fern is 8 weeks today and we have just returned from having her xrayed. There are 2 large pups, one in each horn, presenting feet first. I am amazed at the clarity of the xray. Vet and I have discussed tactics and now we wait and see what happens. Fern is due on Sunday.
6 weeks today :D
I've taken pics from week one

If anyone wants their dogs added to the data base I am happy to do it for you

I know you have trouble clicking links but if...

We used frozen semen that has been stored for around 18 - 20 years. Fern herself is a result of a frozen semen implant that was around 10 years old. :D
Fern was bred using frozen semen in November and is expecting pups on Jan 18th. The ultrasound last week only showed 2 pups but we are hopeful for a couple more than that. Belly pics are here:

Fern is currently 5 and 1/2 weeks gone and seems to be...
Thank you every one for the warm welcome :)
For Trish G, Piper was named after an appalossa stallion from a book. Piper was rather wild when I got him, often rearing and bucking and carrying on, just like a stallion. 7 years later he has settled down quite a bit but can still have his...
Hi all, I found this site by accident and when I saw it had a greyhound section I just had to join. I'm Anne and I live in Australia with my 2 show bred greys, one medium sized cross bred (beaglexfoxiex?x?) and 3 cats. My first grey was Sam adopted from the Greyhound Adoption Program, he was an...
