Hi all, I found this site by accident and when I saw it had a greyhound section I just had to join. I'm Anne and I live in Australia with my 2 show bred greys, one medium sized cross bred (beaglexfoxiex?x?) and 3 cats. My first grey was Sam adopted from the Greyhound Adoption Program, he was an ex racer and I was devastated when I lost him just before his 9th birthday to the dreaded osteosarcoma.

My 2 current greyhounds are Piper, 8 1/2 yo desexed male and Fern, just turned 2 entire bitch who I show and will be breeding, by the looks of her, quite soon. They are both from the same kennel but Piper has never been shown.

I'm looking forward to talking all things grey :D

Thank you every one for the warm welcome :)

For Trish G, Piper was named after an appalossa stallion from a book. Piper was rather wild when I got him, often rearing and bucking and carrying on, just like a stallion. 7 years later he has settled down quite a bit but can still have his moments.

Fern is a free spirit, my showing friends describe her as "irrepressible"
