hi if u lowered the weight limit down from 32lb then no one would cross greyhounds into the whippet breed or less would. this could be a problem cause the gene pool is very small anyway so if no new blood isn't added then faults will ocurr more often and the breed will get even more nutty and...

that format looks much fairer than normal yd/lb racing. it would give all dogs a chance to win and the dogs would get a better chance to show. gud idea but imagine how long it would take us to get a programme at champs without simple yd/lb he he just kiddin :p   :p   :D   :D

i would like to add my point of view of the handicapping. in my time racing whippets i've never seen a dog or bitch win an open of 26lb+ at 150 yd/lb, so surely this can't be equal in fairness. i personally think 150/160 at 2ft is fairer because small dogs like dancing wind, drama queen, branca...

does everyone know about the independance open at melton next sunday. it is a ABCDE open at 150 2ft i think. it hasn't been in the whippet news, i don't know why. it also has pups sratch etc. none of the independant opens will be in the whippet news so ill find them out and post them asap...

i would be really nerevous if my dogs were tested. ive never given my dogs anything illegal and all that is feed is from greyhound stores. but u wouldn't know if u were being stiched up or who handles the samples, its pathetic that i should have to worry because ive never cheated. bateson breed...

hi ever1 its good to be back two of my dogs have for some reason got into the habit of recycling(eating dog poo). i know theyre getting enough food because they aren't even on a race diet yet because theyre too young. i have had to muzzle them but is their any other way to stop it. cheers

i think whippet racing is just racing with u and ur dog but greyhound racing is a money game with alot of other things behind the scenes. the racing is very different from whippet racing
