Loopy, PMs received, thanks. :) I'm going to phone Zephyr's breeder tomorrow, and see which pups, if any, are left. As I mentioned in a PM, there are a few options available, including a litter of first cross collie/whippets, some bedlington/collie/lurchers and some pure-bred whippets...

Excellent topic, that I will be watching with interest. :) In my research for the kind of dog that would suit me, I have noticed quite a variety in the shape of pure-bred whippets. Some are quite sturdy looking, in comparison to others I see, and some stand at rest with a fairly arched back...
