I have just heard from Roger that he has spoken to you after he had been in touch with Paddy Mannion and your bitch's reading on the velocity flow into the aorta is totally acceptable. Thanks to Paddy I hope that this has put your mind at rest.
Good post Wendy, as you say the KC has no requirments for the breed to be tested and lets hope it stays that way and we can prove they are in a good state.
I don't think Libby has said that, and no one breeds to cause problems but when problems arise they will have to be dealt with and hope everyone is honest.
Henrik it is all so new to us as breeders and things will move slowly but I am sure testing will be the way forward for all breeding stock. MANY LINES WE HAVE GONE WITH OVER THE YEARS YOU FEEL YOU CAN TRUST AS YOU HAVE NEVER KNOWN THEM HAVE PROBLEMS AND ON THE WHOLE I STILL FEEL THE BREED IS IN...
In the breed at the momment you can not demand that breeders do anything the KC do not demand it. So just let all of us who care get on doing what we can for the breed.
There are some on TWF trying to make us go insane.

Dexter went today to the Animal Health Trust at Newmarket for his eyes and hearing, glad to say that he passed both.
The cost of the eyes £38 and hearing £32.84
Jax don't be silly I can not afford but Roger can. His brother Russell is now in Denmark, so now he is the only stud dog, if Johnny fulfills his early promise he will be done later next year.
Yesterday Dexter went for his heart test which he passed withe flying colours. The cost of the test done by Paddy Mannion was £352. 50 plus £105. 75 consultation so altogether £453. 41 so it is not cheap. On Tuesday he goes for his hearing test and are waiting appointment for his eyes, so will...
This has happened and they are your puppies, of course many close mating have bred on well with no problems. OUT CROSS MATINGS have had their share of problems, a sensible breeder will know the way forward, there is no need for them to be taken out of a breeding programme unless there have been...
Not meaning to have more come backs than Gary Glitter, and thinking I should not say a thing I have been reading this thread and I am appalled. I hope to god that this method is never allowed by the K.C.
We have all been in the situation when planning to mate a bitch as to what stud dog should...
Hi Molly it was a repeat to Solid gold, just to try for more bitches this time, last time she only produced one girl, she is so determined though we won't have a white bitch like her. We will never get to use the name Carved in Ice. We have four girls though and five boys, the most lovely...
