    Police Dog To Be Pts

We have had a police dog handler in our shop and I am sure that he said he only kept the dogs for about 4 or 5 years too. Maybe they start to lose their enthusiasm for the job after that.

    Rescuea Greyhound

It took about a week for me to get my first rescue grey. But every dog rescue place works differently. Might be worth giving them a phone and asking if everything is ok and if the dog is still available.

Thankfully we found places for all of the dogs. Which was really good going. The RGT did play a big part in it all.

Thanks for the replies, I will pass them onto the dogs owner. Why she has not taken the dog to her own vet I do not know.

    Feeding Raw Meat

I have fed mine a variety of raw meats without freezing it first. They have been fine. I also know a few other people that feed raw and have done for years, again without freezing all the time and their dogs are fine too.

    Feeding Raw Meat

I have been feeding my dogs on raw food for the past few months. I use raw chicken - wings, legs and carcases. I also feed lamb ribs and mince, beef mince and any offal that I can get. I also use fish, fruit and veg. I puree a combination of vegetables and mix it through mince. Same with...

    What Food You Feed

I feed mine on raw food. They were all starting to get a bit fussy on kibble. I tried a variety of different ones and there would always be one of the four refusing to eat it. I still have a bit of a problem with the raw diet, one wont eat chicken at all and gets a bit fussy if I try to feed...

Bones And Hide treats for dogs

I did a lot of research before I put my dogs on a raw food diet and I found a couple of sites where the people fed their dogs bones straight from the freezer during the summer. They said it was a good way for the dogs to cool down. I have given mine a couple of partly thawed chicken wings and...

    Can Dogs Eat Vegetable Soup?

    Can Dogs Eat Vegetable Soup?

I though that you loose some of the nutrients into the water that is why steaming the veg is a better way to cook. If the water is kept - as in soup - then most of the nutrients are making it to the dog. I will do a bit more research on it. They loved their soup this morning.
