Bigger dogs seem to cope with the cold better than small dogs. Not sure what difference a wild dog or a bred dog makes, they will both physically be the same? If the dog had always been inside and got use to it though, then chucked outside for the rest of its life, that might be different.

You need a loving Nanny to look after your dog during the day. Not really ideal to buy a dog that is going to be alone most of the day. But saying that they just sleep all day if they are alone or there is no food or excitement happening!

A couple of local people who have raced greyhounds at the local track have said that some people use to put an extra strong mint where the sun dont shine (the dog not the people) and it makes them run faster. Is it true or just a myth?
