    'Look at me'

If I can manage to get him to look at me, he might see more of a treat than the dog he wants to bark at. I see those pigs flying again. Seriously, if I can get him to look at me, it will deepen our relationship.

    'Look at me'

I haven't managed to get him a flirt pole yet, it could work though. Trouble with Eddi, he wants to chew everything. I play tuggy with him and I have to keep the toy as a special treat, he wants it off me so he can chew it to death. He will be like that with a flirt pole, but at least we'll get...

    'Look at me'

He's selective smart, as in 'what's in it for me' attitude. I'm sure he won't look at me because he knows I'll have the upper hand if he does.

    My dear old dog

It is hard. When my Beagle came to her end, she wasn't able to go to the toilet, or walk. It came on quite suddenly Thursday morning she was OK, Saturday evening at 8pm we took her to the vet. The vet had seen her on Friday evening, but she brightened up and she suggested just seeing how she...

    Behaviour moods/changes

Make sure you mention all of his symptoms and behaviours then you can discuss it all with the vet.

    Behaviour moods/changes

Yes, let us know how he gets on. Eddi's poo schedule is erratic, it took me a while to get the right food for him and if he eats too much or has too many treats, it can go sloppy. I have to be very careful when looking at his diet.

. Possibly, mention it to your vet. Maybe he's constipated and in a bit of pain.

    'Look at me'

I put the treat right in front of my eyes and he won't look, it's all beneath him lol. I do that for sit and he jumps up. He doesn't snatch it from me, he just jumps us when I try 'down' as he does when i try 'sit'

    'Look at me'

As some of you may be aware, I am making inroads into Eddi's nuttiness and seeing some positive results from training. The one thing I cannot really get him to do is 'look at me' and this could be one that really gets through to him when he's being reactive. I've done everything I've read on...

    My poor sausage

That is annoying, hope Timber is OK soon.

To neuter or not to neuter?

Could you have a word with Eddi and tell him that please, I don't think he read the script properly!:D

    They do listen to me.....sometimes!

I can't do these the things mentioned above if he is on the scent of something, that's the next stage I suppose. I can see pigs flying as I type.

    Behaviour moods/changes

Oh, that's not good for me coming to live there with my dog.

    Behaviour moods/changes

It's difficult, we've had our dog 6 months, but he's 2 and a half. He seems to be carrying so much baggage, he's never the same from one day to the next. Your's is a young dog, I'm used to older ones. When Eddi does his loopy mood bit, I just try to reassure him.

    Does your dog own clothes?

We bought our Beagle a coat when she was older and not so well because she was walking more slowly, but I don't like to see dogs dressed up.
