You could do Hound Ass of Scotland and then NCWC on the way home :- "
Seems a sensible idea to me :clown:

Where will the NCWC show be though?

Pauline Oliver at Scottish Hound then Liz Third and Barbara Robinson at NCWC.

i would go to Hound Association of Scotland louise its a really nice venue and if youve got a caravan even better! not sure if you can rent one out though? Kelso is about an hours drive south of edinburgh if thats any help

You are joking arnt you (w00t) the last 2 years its been bl***y freezing , as well as wet .with 6inch of mud in the gang ways , water running through the ring too  plus You are in a tent IN APRIL in the middle of a field . Its a super venue in June for Border Union but not in April , The food facilities are virtually non excitant to , just one over priced resturant across the field.

On saying all of that I might still be going a third year :- " gluten for punishment or what , :- " But take extra socks and shoes to change , unless the weather is kind to us :luck:

WHO is doing Darlington, still no news..........................is there???

The judge for Northern Ireland Whippet Club Championship Show on Saturday 30th September 2007 is Gwen Hempstock.

The show is back to back with the hound day at Belfast Championship Show again and in the same venue. (Kings Hall Complex, Belfast)

I stewarded for Maureen Last year and I can tell you that I will never ever go to that show again at that time of the year.

It was the battle of the best with the conditions and I saw dogs on the day that I am sure suffered from the bad weather conditions not get their best.

The tent area for Whippets was not heated and was water logged, and most of the time I was worried that exhibitors would slip due to that. I was ill for two weeks after the event with a flu virus, along with Maureen Blanks the Judge. We did go to one of the Caravans after the show for a while, but it was blowing a gale.

If anyone stays over night I suggest a guest house or hotel.
