2012 WHIPPET NEWS TOP TEN
Huge congratulations to our 2012 Top Ten winners…
Firstly Sup Rch/Ch of Ch’s SKOSHI TIGER…this for a remarkable second year running. To win this award once in any dogs career is outstanding to do it twice shows what class she has, a feat very few have done.
Skoshi enjoyed another fantastic year on the track, as 2012 bought much the same in the way of victory, however adding Sup Rch and Ch of Ch’s plus winner of both Derbies showed her dominance against the best in the country.
Graham & Denise Peter’s beautiful and highly talented big lad
Ch of Ch’s KING LOUIS….as well as Classic & Golden Jacket wins this dog also dominated many opens and on the big stage at the Fed Champs winning Champion of Champions, many tried to challenge him but very few succeeded!
Lee Aston’s RVCh/Ch of Ch’s SPOT BLACK
what a year this little bitch has had…..I have had the pleasure of seeing her race from a youngster, now as a veteran she just seems to get better….for one so small she never gives in, and one of her best races on the bends at Highgate at the BWRA Bend Champs where she was narrowly beaten into r-up spot for Veteran Sup Rch…not bad for such a tiny little thing…..and back onto the straights in June she blistered the NNWRF Championships taking top spoils and again at the English Derby later that month, adding Vet Rch in August…all this against very classy competition!
All of the above have shown great consistency, true class & are a huge credit to their rightly proud owners! Well done for a gallant effort by the runners up; Annie, Darren & Ray's Sup Rch/Nch Matey's Touch, John & Jean's Rch/Nch Branco, Steve Bell's Rch Springwell Ruby & Vet Scr Ch of Ch's, Rch/Nch Bobby Dazzler......
A full write-up on all the Top Ten winners will be in the January copy.
Congrats also to Veteran Scratch winner (although not Top Ten) Kate, Lesley & Joe Lynches gorgeous old boy ROGER THE DODGER…our fine winner!
