Another lovely relaxed day at West Somerset. The sun shone all day for the first throphy match of the season and there were some very close finishes. There had been a horrendous amount of rain all week and the ground was still wet in places; unfortunately poor Joyce and Fred weren't able to get onto the field.

Race 1 - 100 yards scratch.

Race 2 - 120 yards scratch.

Race 3 - 140 yards scratch.

Darkling Dreamcatcher = 12 (1st place and shield winner)

Darkling Dragonfly = 7 (2nd place)

Chase the pied piper = 7 (2nd place)

Mr Noisy = 12 (1st place and shield winner)

Racing Spikes = 10 (2nd place)

The Phantom Menace = 9 (3rd place)

Bladerunner = 9 (3rd place)

Puppy cup next week - Please book in with Margaret as normal, especially if you have a puppy!!!!

We had a lovely day yesterday, perfect racing conditions and great company. A really lovely friendly atmosphere :huggles:

I was rubbish with my camera, but caught Vadar having a trial....

Had a good day racing yesterday the weather was great just very muddy!!!!

Nice to see you and your whippies again TC :))

Shame Joyce & Fred did not make the field :(

The racing was close all day with some good finishes well done :cheers:

TC - I cant begin to thank you enough for capturing Vader's trial. His face :wub: :wub: I'm going to get that sequence framed 8)

I have no idea why Ollie is called 'The Gas' perhaps it is the obvious :b
