IVE SAID THIS BEFORE..TORI IS NOT 23".....SHES JUST UNDER BY A LITTLE FRACTION.  SHE WAS MEASURED IN MY HOUSE  20 MONTHS AGO ON A WOODEN FLOOR.  I HOPE THAT PUTS THIS TO BED .

THINK IT'S BECOMING CLEAR THAT I WAS TELLIN THE TRUTH ,WHEN I SAID THAT I WAS BEING PM ABOUT TORI'S HIEGHT.AS FOR THE RULE'S JOHN.YOU MADE THEM,NOT ME.YOURE THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CLUB.NOT ME,AS IVE ONLY JUST JOINED LATELY.THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE RULE'S ,ARE THE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD ENFORCE THEM.I WAS ONLY RELEYING WHAT I HAD BEEN PM ABOUT.ANYWAY,IT WASNT ONLY RACING DOG'S THAT NEEDED MEASURING,AS THE DOG THAT WON UNDER 23 ROUGH,WAS ABOUT 25 INCHES TO THE SHOULDER.IT THEN WENT ON TO WIN RESERVE CHAMPION,I THINK.AGAIN NO ODD'S TO ME,AS I HAD NOTHING TO SHOW,BUT RULE'S SHOULD BE RULES.THING IS JOHN,THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE COMMENTED TO ME ,ABOUT THE HIGHT OF TORI,AND ON QUITE A FEW OCCASION'S,I HAVE REPLIED WITH YOURE OWN WORD'S,THAT SHE WAS MEASURED IN YOU'RE HOME,BY YOU,AND SHE WAS MEASURED UNDER.I HAVE TAKEN YOU'RE WORD FOR IT,AS I TOOK YOU AS GENUINE,AND STRAIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE.HAVE A FEW OTHER PROBLEM'S,BUT I WONT AIR MY WASHING HERE JOHN,SO I'LL PM YOU ABOUT THEM AFTER IVE EATEN MY DINNER.

Darren I always like reading your posts because you are always 100% spot on. My personal opinon is that there are TOO many dog owners who are throwing their dummies out.

The dog is under 23" as proven before people are just trying to find any way to knock this GOOD DOG down!

ok, ive beeen to 2 shows were roses dog tori is and both times the amount of comments that people have said shes not UNDER 23 inch is unbeleavable,several people on this site beleave shes NO under and that stems from the midlands last year were she didnt get measured either :thumbsup: and same goes for chomley,ive sent her 3 nice pms asking her the size of tori and no reply  and yes she read them,Now 1st thing you lot are thinking is mark is scared of runing her NO WAY its a well known fact theres nothing down here that can get close to my dog on a normal day,But lets not forget mine are lurchers so lets have the size of the dog the above thread is directed at???????? i have and most people have no problem in getting our dogs measured,mark

It really does go to show that the number of people who say that Tori is not under 23" havn't got a clue in the world at what they are talking about. As for Rose applying to your pm Markbrick.....why should she.

Billy, i hope you are not one of the people who is questioning Tori's height, as if so you ought to know better than most from your previous experiences when people are jealous and will do anything to tarnish an owner or their dogs name.

Think you know by now Darren,that if i realy wanted Tori,or any other dog measured ,then i would open my overly big mouth,and say that i did.As i have realy nothing running against her at the moment,it dont bother me.If i have summit i think good enough to run against her next year,or any other year,and her hight bother's me,or any other dog's hight for that matter,then i will ask for ,or measure them myself.Same goes for my own bitches,as i will gladly measure them in (public)for all to see.Iwas proud to be able to present Tori with the shield's last week,which i publicaly announced,as it proved a point that i made a few week's before,about the wee dog being the quickest,9 time's out of 10.If Colt had have beat Tori,then i would also have been proud to have presented them to John.Unfortunately he did'nt.One thing i will ask you Darren.Have you seen her measured.Cause if not,then you know just about the same as everyone else,who has'nt a clue what they're talkin about.Now dont be going and taking that statement all to heart,as you know i just say what i think anyway.Now be a good boy,and dont let it annoy you.You're old mate ...Billy...

Billy, i'm not in the slightest bit annoyed . I have no need to see her measured nor do i wish to see her measured because i know that she is under 23". I have seen her beside Maddy, who was just over 23", and believe me Tori is distinctly smaller so in my defense i know what i'm talking about.

Maybe i am reading your previous post wrong but if over the past couple of years when you have been happy to race against Tori in the unders why would you want to question her actual height now or in the future????? I find that very difficult to understand and i think in the light of that others may view you differently.

Markbrick, i would just ignore the pms as it may just be possible that they are trying to stir things up and are using you to do so. Its sad when SEVERAL PERSONS FROM IRELAND AND ENGLAND would do such a thing. In my opinion this sport would be better off without such people.

Mark, if people want to be two faced that's up to them....they only seem to get away with it for a while and people get to know what they are really like. I wouldn't let it put you off or out of your sport, which you seem to love. Keep those dogs of yours hunting and running....besides it would only do your head in stuck in the house everyday

I think people need to sit back a minute and read the post's.If anyone can find where i myself have said that Tori is over 23, then tell me where it is.And Frankie,since you've mentioned it.Ive already beat her,3 times in a row a few year's ago with an old bitch,who got to within a 1/2 a length or so, of her last sunday.Ok,she has'nt done it since,but she was neck n neck with her again this year at Fermanah,until Seamus stopped the lure,and no one can argue with that,as there were plenty who seen it.When the lure started again she had done her wrist,and could'nt run,and then collapsed.It took a fair bit if time ,and therapy to get her right again.But hey,if Megan can get this close at her age,who would have been the fastest at 3 year's of age.Dont even think that need's an answer.I have a pup who was beating Megan by a length,before she was 10 month's old,so to answer you,re question frankie.No.in not worried in the least.But i will say this.It will take a bloody goodun to beat Tori,big or wee.I have nothing against Rose,like a lot on here seem to be alway's suggesting,and if i did i would tell her.Im sure she would do the same,but she's not even getting involved.So if she's not bothered,then why is everyone else getting stuck in.I spoke up once in her deffence,and next i knew my pm list was asking me if id startd a Rose n Tori fan club or summit.So you cant win,can you.Obviously,you have a big interest in her,as you bred her.also i would say that it was probibly one of the best litter's ever bred over here,but they are as pure as you'll get,without being pure,and would,nt be aloud to run as lurcher's,at some of the show's across the water.If i take a notion,i might put a good stud dog over Megan,and as i dont go over to England,i could race away over here,without a problem.But no .it would'nt be fair on everyone else,would it.

What is it with some folk :rant: Roses dog as run both in England and Ireland and WON,why does that make her a cheat :angry: You who are questioning Tori's height,have forgotten one thing,she ran against and beat the fastest over,so Rose doesn't need to lie to win :wacko:Everybody who as raced at a show which Rose attends has had the opportunity to request that Tori be measured,yet it appears that to date nobody has asked for this to be done.
