Here is Irene's pride and joy, Honey, Crufts BOB 2006

CH Bluestreak Bubbly Blonde aged 8 weeks in rather bad light. We had to put labels in front of all the pups, the litter were so similar. She was "Girl one" as she was the pick, but she had a very nice sister who I nearly swapped over to at 12 weeks.

Thanx for all the replies so far, they are all pretty similar to their puppy pics, but keep them coming.

I know most people have posted what age they pick their at, but just wondered how many people have had that one extra special pup where you have seen a puppy and thought wow and what age were they. For example my bitch Echo (Timeless Echo of Triken) I picked her out the litter when she was still wet and I knew she would be a winner from that moment.

I don't think I am explaining it, but if you have had a similar experience you kno what I mean!

I could always pick my best Gsd pup out at birth, there was just that 'something' that made them stand out :)

I found it very difficult to choose in Poppy's litter as they were all so alike, but here's Bailey & Chrissy at 3 1/2 weeks

Know what you mean Alayna! Rupert was the one from the moment he was born.

I saw Ronan (Ch Loroli Fancy That for Derohan JW) at 6 weeks, I had only gone to have a nosey at the litter , with no intention of having one,and he just stood out for me. I came home and did not stop talking about this puppy that I had seen ............ I had been told that he was destined for abroad (which I thought was a shame & a waste), then he was being kept by his breeder (which cheered me up a bit) but, eventually, I brought him home at 10 weeks old!!! Yay!!! LOL! The rest, as they say, is history!

I do love your Folly, cathie  I thought she looked beautiful when i saw her in the flesh at The Whippet club

ha ha, famous last words

funny though isn't it, we walked through Cathie's door (just to 'have a nosey at the litter :- " ) and from across the room I saw this little stripey head with sleepy blue eyes appear out of a jumble of puppies and straight away I said to Cathie, 'that has to be a boy cos I already know I want that one!' Luckily he was! :huggles:

I think Cathy might have a 'proper' puppy pic of him, whether he'll turn out anywhere as stunning as his lovely mum Folly when he grows up remains to be seen
