I can't go back any earlier than this one though, and as I'm sure anyone that knows me will have probably seen this before and know that one day I would love someone to come up with a copy of Issue 1 and 2 of the Whippet News to complete my mum's set (w00t)

Sorry folks won't muscle in anymore, just can't miss a chance just in case someone could help

For everyone thats sent pm's phoned and texted asking if we have a certain picture or advert of tracks which has been hundreds  it would help if you could ask on here as there have been too many to remember who asked for what lol and i am sure there are plenty of old timers out there ( LES ) that can help and put them on if they can.

Thanks for taking the time & trouble for putting on a blast from the past Cris, really enjoying this topic

Got any pictures of the Brogan's or Brammer's from Harworth Chris, or the Nugents ? Be nice to take this up to the "little house" for their families to see.

I like to remember him like that too Les,my daddy for any of you who hadnt guessed :huggles: I had literally just started whippet racing at that point I do believe I was somewhere in the background in my pram at that meeting hahaha (3 months old) Dad with his first whippet Flash Past 15/16lb. I think she was 3rd in the Sedgebrook Open that day, 2nd Magics Girl and 1st Black Magic (Elise the one I told you about ;) )

Nice to see Black Magic, and Flash Past who gave her name to my favourite trophy race at Manton 100yds at half yd/lb
