i have just met someone who wants to show her whippet but it has broken the tip of its tail while it dosent look too bad you can see where it has broken would this go against her in the show ring or would judges look at the overall picture :huggles:

my old girl ,Camilla . Carved Opal at Silkstone ,had the end of her tail broken before I had her  and it didnt stop her gaining her stud book number when she won her Limit class at SKC many years ago .

So the answer is no it shouldnt stop her winning IMO

A puppy I bred broke her tail whilst being born and it went septic so was amputated at 3 days old. She was shown successfully, most people did not even notice she had a tail the length of a Cocker Spaniel's. It did not affect her lure coursing either.

thanks i didnt think it would after all no ones perfect ill be able to put her mind at rest now
