After a great day at the Midland yesterday, where we got together with lots of whippety friends, we had a truly brilliant day today We met up with Finn's breeder Mally and Finn's litter sister Vixen, who was defending her 2008 Whippet Championship win. And what a super day for the Mallyfields ... Finn won Whippet Dog, Vixen won Whippet Bitch and Working Whippet and together they won the Pairs, with Vixen putting the cherry on the cake by winning the Whippet Champ trophy for the second year running (reckon she should have let her brother have a turn ). So chuffed for Mally who I think it's fair to say was pretty chuffed himself :lol: As am I !!

We've hardly any pics of the dogs but lots of the afternoon's harness racing ... never trust a man with a camera to be where you want him to be !!

Taran getting a Special in Whippet Puppy ... I know he's only tiny but it's never too early to learn what it's like to trot around a ring :thumbsup: and apart from stopping to eat some sheep poo :b he was a very good boy :wub:

Hartington Wakes Sports and Show which includes the Pride of the Peaks Whippet Championship/geographically between Ashbourne and Buxton. Can't remember the judges name though, sorry.

Judge was Phil Fowler by the look of things ! Well done Annie ........had hoped to have seen you there but Archer cut his pad in the final of the Overs racing at the Midland on Saturday, so we didnt drive up there. Next year maybe!
