The odds are stacked against most abandoned, abused, lost or stray animal and most never see a happy ending to their tragic lives but one Bullmastiff Shepherd mix named Jesse James beat those odds. Jesse who as a puppy was found in a trash can five years ago by the Nelson British Columbia S.P.C.A has gone from tragedy to fame. It started out as a website dedicated to Jesse’s life his struggles and his nomination for the Medal of Bravery and ended up as a book. The book titled “You ask me if I cry” is due out later this year.
