Here`s a bit of nice scenery with a bit of child cruelty thrown in.

Well I couldnt hold the dogs, camera and little boy at the same time. Could I. :- "

Aww Firemansam what a lovey picture

[ Lovely country side ,but i think if you fell into that under growth you would not be seen again for a very long time.

;) ;) ;) I did have the OH with me today ...

Wow, some lovely views of the countryside in your part of the world.

We went out walking today, poor Annie got stung by nettles, at least I think that what was the matter with her. She'd be trotting along and suddenly stop and start flicking and shaking her paw. Had a good look but couldn't see anything wrong with her foot. There were quite a few nettles around so i think it must have been those. Whippets coats being so short and fine I suppose they can get stung.

Have to watch out for them in future.

Aww poor Annie. We were watching for adders today - because it was quite hot - occasionally you come across them basking in those parts of the countryside. Its just when you hear the little crickets and grasshoppers in the grass - they sound a bit like a snake does.

Anyway we didnt come across any - thank goodness. (w00t)

Oscar  Kobi

Looks like you had a really nice walk..no better way to spend the day than out walking the hills, with your dogs, a camera, and OH to open the gates and to pay for the drinks at the end of the walk. :- " :p

Janis...meant to add that your local scenery reminds me very much of my local scenery. It's such a familiar sight looking down on the towns from the hills.

Here's a photo I took yesterday...I thought I'd post it because it looks quite similar to your townscape....
