To anyone that can help,

I am looking for a rescue whippet that needs a good home in Devon. I have grown up with whippets and lurchers and after my last lurcher died a couple of years ago I find I miss the company. I find that living out in the country that there are plenty of rabbits in need of eviction from my friends farms, so he/she would have plenty of excercise probably about 2 hrs a day over several hundred acres. They will not need to contend with other animals or children for affection as there is only myself and my partner.

What about The Whippet Forum, that has a thread for dogs needing homes, Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher rescue sometimes have whippets for re-homing as do Dogs Trust - worth a look. Good Luck. :luck: :luck:

If there is a whippet further up country who is in need of a home, then I can help with transport as I am travelling up from Devon to Scotland next weekend to pick up my new puppy. I would be more than happy to offer a re-homing whippet a lift to his/her new home with Ozz in Devon :thumbsup:
