What a lucky little chap to have found you. I know exactly how you feel. A few years back our rescue was asked to take on a 15 year old whippet who came to me as a foster but she had serious health issues and there was no way I was letting her move on so she stayed put with us. We only had the pleasure of her company for five months before her heart finally gave out but she is one of the most special dogs I have ever had the pleasure to know and she was the one who is responsible for me falling in love with whippets in general and hence going on to foster and adopt Penny and also foster Jodi who has recently moved on to a wonderful forever home. I hope you have lots of time with your special lad.
