A & T Miners Wrc

Once again we are in the process of organising this years event and hoping to make it bigger & better than ever before with the idea of offering something for everyone and to promote the sport to the best of our ability.

The Track is looking great with constant maintenance going on right up to the event to ensure the running surface is at its best.

Camping for the weekend will go ahead as with previous years, once again this will be free for anyone wishing to stay over and will be from Thursday 13th July to Monday 16th July. There will be spaces available on the field and on hardstanding (Please book in advance just so that we know how many to expect and can arrange for the barrier to be open)

Entertainment is being planned for the Saturday night in the form of a race night with a hotpot supper for everyone who attends.

Trade Stalls at this event will be more than welcome, there is no charge for this, all that we ask is that you book in prior.

Weight limit 35lb. If there's the need to run a time event for the bigger dogs then we'll run that too.

Traps are 34" long x 10" wide

We'll last year we had some of the best dogs in the country running at this event. This year you've got no excuse not to attend whether you own a flyer or a club dog. With a capped entry fee, encouraging you to run all your gang too. All have a chance of winning and no one will be going home without a few goodies! Not many, if any events have gone so much out of their way to cater for ALL. Huge thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our sponsors!

Night out at Gin Pit has always been a great laugh and a cracking atmosphere. Think the race night will go down well with plenty of banter!

And most important of all for racing your dog, a great track with a proud record of over 15yrs racing week in, week out with no dog ever breaking a bone on this track in this time. The race track, as usual will be fenced off with a generous run off. Not only that but 2 experienced and qualified canine first aiders available and we shall ensure that experienced greyhound vet, Paul Evans is available over the weekend.
