first time at westi,if only for a trail.seems a safe track nice open bends some really close races.the lurchers surprised me very fast (w00t) excellent day out.

Thanks to everyone for a great day. Hebe finally calmed down round about 8 o'clock last night (w00t) . I was pleasantly surprised how well Scrumpy took to it, she'd never been in a trap before & can be a bit nervous sometimes with strange places & loud noises but she was absolutely fine & got better with each run

Rafferty amazed us both by reaching the finish line....just :clown:

That was the first (and probably the last) thing he's ever won in his furry little life. His winning medal now has pride of place on the shelf :lol:

The pic of him & Razzle is brilliant, so funny.

Thanks to John for the loan of the jackets :thumbsup: & I hope Colt is better soon.

Rafferty is still on cloud 9 He's never won anything before Mind you, it was a close run race, I think Raffy stopped to wave to the crowd half way along the straight & he was running out of steam rapidly towards the end -_-

We are now in serious training for next year.

The terrier pics certainly add comedy value to the day :clown:

One of the nicest comments I heard on Sunday was from my Mum which I thought I'd share with you all. Basically she was extremely impressed with the condition of all the dogs she saw there and felt they was all in immaculate condition. Made me feel really proud to be associated with such a large group of people who take such pride and care with their dogs. Congratulations to you all and may you all be justly rewarded. :cheers: :luck:

razzles been out this morning doing laps of the garden with her rucksack with weights in and has been pumping iron all afternoon while playing the 'rocky' theme tune in the background. :- "
