Hi.

I would like to ask a medicle question :-

My 12 month dog has developed what looks like a large spot (zit) on his testicle.

I am unsure if its an absce or possibly a syst.

Does anyone have any idea ?

Or does this require a trip to the vets.

Help is very welcome... ... ...

You need to take your dog to the vet asap.

Antibotics will be needed. What you can see on the outside is only a fraction of what can be inside and could be full of nasty pus that might have to be drained. Before it bursts and turns into a very nasty infected hole It could be a solid lump that needs to be cut out and looked at. Or it could be something very simple like a splinter that has caused an infection.

What ever it is your dog needs to see a vet today

GOOD LUCK

I agree, trip to the vets, better safe than sorry

Good luck, hope you get it sorted :luck:

My Fynn had onef these recentely, it turned out to be a Histiocytoma which didn't go down on it's own and had to be surgically removed. best of luck.

Well -

Just got back from the vet's. My little lad has either been bitter, or nicked the sack skin. Either way, the vet gave him an antibotics injection and told me he would be OK.....relief :sweating:

Thanks for all your reply's & support.

Must mention -

When I say "I" got back from the vet's - I actually meant the wife.

She took the big lad for me.. :- " :- " :- "

Sorry SHELL - for taking all the credit.... ... ... :b
