I've been having a very bad time of it lately and it was a beautiful bright spark to read that Cooper had won this award.

Great to see that Chucky and Tia also won their classes and that John and Ange did well with the other Peperones too!

Hi theredont know if you remember me or not but i was benched next to you at the adelaide royal show last year, said a quick hello to you at the SA whippet specialty. Just wanted to congratulate you on your fantastic results from the specialty. At the royal you where kind, friendly and gracious and made for a very pleasant neighbour and it was great to see you do so well. I hope to see you at the royal again this year.

Hopefully we'll be at the Adelaide Royal again because its definately my favourite royal, but thinking about it hurts at the moment!! I don't want to think about travelling at the moment!!

I have to say Bethany that you were pretty lucky to escape unscathed. I had the misfortune at the Melb Royal last year to be benched next to Elmaro and her family. They plied me with large amounts of red wine before we went into the ring- and needless to say we didn't do very well as a result.

I was thinking last night that Cooper was named after Coopers Sparkling Ale (the one with the red and white sticker) by my husband Paul, so its kind of cool that he won a specialty in SA!! A glass does calm the nerves tho at a specialty!! All the dogs are named after alcohol tho ... the dobermann "JD" - Jack Daniels .... Connie - apparently after Cognac .... but angus named her so I can't be held responsible for that!! o

And as for you cartman ... comparing my Coopy Doop to a green pavlova!!! Mind you ... best pav ever!!!! Someone told me that next years is going to be black and white?? That I'd like to see!! Can I put in an order for a piece now??!! :thumbsup:

Congratulations to Elly & Paul with Cooper's Best In Show, what a day it was for Peperone and well done to all the other winners.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the South Australian hospitality.

It was very exciting to win Intermediate in Show with the Lizard, thanks to everyone for their congratulations.

hey good to see you all enjoyed the show this sunday is the adelaide hound club show which i may attend as a spectator. I still dont get how they pick one whippet over another so i will leave that to the pro's i'll post picks of the hound club show as fast as i can. Also as a query if i havea whiipet with papers, but was never registered to show, if she had puppies is it possible to show any of her puppies? As i have plans to breed crispy after she becomes a balistic agility missile lol. All you shower's have fun and congrats to all the winners, and better luck next time to everyone else

Sorry this is not possible. The dam must be fully registered, as well as the sire. Your whippet might have "limited" papers. This maybe done, dont quote me. I will be there on Sunday & I think I will be showing. See me if you need to know more or need help in finding a whippet. I may be by the chihuahua ring also.

no i dont blame you!!! thought you may have stayed around to show at the Hound club champs the following weekend. Molly rule steel was the judge and i did pretty well with my little girl. She won her class and went Intermediate of breed. I was so proud of her. Bets of luck hopefuly will see you again around the Adelaide circuit!
