Hi so we adopted our 2.5 year old frenchie who is a lovely sweet dog and gets on with my older terrier. But clearly she's had no training whatsoever. So after 3 nights she's now quiet in her crate so clearly she's smart and wants to please but I think she was a garden dog who was left to her own devices and will only poo in the garden and my older dog has been trained to poo on a walk and not in the garden. Also our frenchie doesn't seem to be housetrained as such as she'll just pee whenever she feels like it! So I'm going to crate her for housetraining, do you think this will work on an older dog? I don't want to crate her really but I think it's the best way? Any other suggestions would be good. Thanks
