Advice On Getting A Lurcher.

Hi, I am currently a dog ower and have 3 dogs( 2plummer terriers and 1 maltease cross)

Iv'e always liked lurchers and was thinking of getting one

Does anyone have any imfomation on them, are they good house dogs, are they very livley and are they well behaved etc

Any comments would be appreciated

Well I'm a lurcher fan and think everyone should have one :thumbsup: ....... but as regards what the temperament is like etc. it depends a lot on what cross you get. They can vary so much in terms of size, energy levels, personality etc. I would recommend going along to one of your local lurcher events, see which type you like and get chatting to their owners to see what you can find out and whether you think a certain type is suitable for you.

I agree with Vicky.....go to the shows and have a look round and a chat to all the owners, there is a huge amount to learn about lurchers and the best thing is to learn a bit from them that own them :thumbsup:

If you do go to a Lurcher event as Vicky said All Lurcher slaves are very talkative about there babies and there very addictive.
