I have taken a few 'movies' on my digital camera - all about 20mb -but I can't seem to get them to upload to photobucket. It says they are uploading but half an hour later they are still at 0%. I have it set at web images (I think). have also tried uploading for emails but no different.

Any help most gratefully received, or any idea about how long it should take?

If you are on Dail up 20mb would take about 20 hours.

I'm on Broadband - the slowest speed -I live out in the sticks!! I looked last night and it seems to have uploaded even though it said it hadn't so now I have to work out how to get it onto the group!! Will ask again if I can't manage it. Thanks - glad it didn't take 20 hours!!!! (w00t)

Janet it may be Photobucket that is slow, it is sometimes. Now you have uploaded the movie click on the IMG link in the same way you do for the photo then copy and paste it into your post. (20MB is quite a large video...some of my shorter ones are 2.5MB or something around that size.)

A box with a picture should then show up and hopefully when you click on this the video should play for you.

Which of all the things under the film do I copy and paste please Janis? I think photobucket may have 'shrunk' it a bit, as I tried to upload it for web and email.

I can do clickable thumbnails but that doesn't seem to work for uploading a film!!

When you can tell me which of the things to copy and paste, I'll put it on! Lily is a hoot the way she digs in her bed and I've done several films on my digi camera. Maybe I should film them at a lower resolution (though I do use a lowish one, there are a couple even lower).

You should see 4 boxes Janet below the Image....the very last one says IMG code

copy this one it should show up yellow when its copied......

then I use Ctrl V to paste it into the forum. or you can just right click and paste

Hope this helps

Janis
