View attachment 34743Hello, As of yesterday I was lucky enough to find the blue whippet puppy bitch I had been looking for. Her name is Indigo and she really is adorable.
She appears to be settling in well with the family and is seemingly quick to learn how to go outside for the toilet.
However, when I introduced her to my existing male whippet, Tarka, aged 4, he looked very frightened and started to dribble from the mouth and even blew 2 bubbles (?!)
He will not stay in the same room as Indigo and whenever she goes up to him he moves away. He is not growling; he seems to be worried.
We are all aware that this is a big change for him and we are trying to divide out time and affection equally. Has anyone got any tips on helping their friendship along or is it just a matter of time and quite common?
Thanks Kate
