Have given up for now everyone. My hubby reckons our photos are in too big a format to post at the moment and has promised faithfully to help me out at the weekend with all this technical stuff. However am really enjoying reading the forums and seeing some of the beautiful dogs that you all own, just can't believe how much time seems to disappear when your on here!! Best wishes to you all, Shaz

listen. theres no need to start that twatting around with "paint" all you do is distort your prize pix. download a free "picture re-sizer" of the net. just type that in and youll get loads of freebies, follow the instructions.

:( i thought as it was easy! i would have a go :D i got to the stretch and skew ok, then after that saved it!! but where its gone i dont know  so still no piccy's from me  :- "

If you right click on picture and select open in,

scroll down to paint, click on paint,

At top of page in paint there is tab IMAGE, click on that and scroll down to strech and skew,

click on that and in there reduce photo to 20% and click ok.

Now save it as you would any other file.

Easy

Hope this helps

Give www.photobucket.com a try...you can put your pics there and then use toe code to post your pics here. If you want anymore info on it them PM me.

Agree with you Keith, I use paint too, it's very easy. I just put the same value in both boxes when i go into stretch and skew and the quality is just fine.

To reduce size of huge piks download this small simple to use program.

http://www.irfanview.com/

To upload your piks use an image host like photobucket www.photobucket.com

or Image cave www.imagecave.com. Once you've registered an account with them, upload your piks by browsing through your pc with the browse button, click on the image you want to upload and it's address will be entered in to the blank address bar then click on upload. Image cave may be the best image host for you to use as once the piks are uploaded, there are 3 codes to the right of your pictures, one of which is an EZ-code, all you do is copy this code and paste it into your k9 posts and it's all done for you.

Good luck and Johnny boy, go wash your mouth out!

You know what Keith. I dont find that comment amusing at all. Dont you realise how many people died becuase of Dr Shipman...that is a malicious comment and has no place on this board. Im sorry but how would you have felt if it was your relative. I cannot believe that a remark like this has been made.

i dont like your posts keith you sail to close to the wind, and some are distasteful, you try and be funny but just end up rude......

Just stick to your stories and showing pics of your dogs

Perhaps this is a very good moment to remind people of this;-

A very useful tool that this board has is the ignore user option.

So if someone doesn't like what another person posts they can simply click on the persons name which will take them to the viewing profile board and from there click on ignore user and viola. You won't have to read any of their comments from now on, unless of course you want to and you can select to read a specific post.

The way that I look at things is this that it is NOT compulsory to read anyone's posts on this board and as we are all adults we can make the choice whether to read the posts or not. The solution is that simple really isn't it. :)

Unless a member is of course breaking board rules then the rules say that the posts should be reported by using the report button.

does that mean it filters out their post and you can see the rest?

Yep. You'll see that the ignored person has posted but the window where the post normally is is empty. You get an option to view the post if you want to. Click on that and you'll see the post AND the others that the person has posted in that thread. Once you've come off that thread then the posts are closed again.

Unfortunately it doesn't render invisible any posts where people have quoted from the ignored person so.......... but at least it helps.

They also can't pm you.

Try it it works well. I've used it myself.
