Hi, just wondered if anyone has tried an air purifier to help with allergies and, if so, how much it helped.

I havent tried one sorry, what sort of allergy is it? Apparently petal clense is good for pet allergies.

i been suffering from allergies,astma,hayfever for years and i havent used one but maybe i ought to

ive been quite bad today...summer has finished and i get worst through the autumn and winter months

Well, we're not entirely sure! My daughter gets hay fever but she also has a more severe allergic reaction every now and again (resulting in trips to casualty) and we've never been able to work out what is causing it. She's had blood tests etc but all to no avail so far. She also sneezes a lot every morning when she wakes up and sometimes gets quite stuffed up and sneezy after snuggling up with Blue for a while on the couch (but not every time she sits with him so I'm thinking it's maybe a combination of several things). I think the more severe reaction is something different and we're now keeping a note of all the circumstances leading up to these reactions to try to work out any common factors. I'm hoping an air purifier might help with general stuffyness and sneezyness and also with hayfever in the summer. Found one recommended by the allergy foundation but it's quite expensive (almost £400) so wondered if anyone had tried something like this and whether it had worked at all.

I'll definitely google petal clense as well though - thanks for the tip :thumbsup:
