Has anyone used or heard of Wolfworthy dry food alternative to raw?
I currently feed frozen raw food but an upcoming holiday makes frozen raw impossible. I have been looking into alternatives but there is so much stuff out there that I am confused
My sister had many problems with her very fussy eater springer/poodle and tried dry, wet, raw and many more before settling on Wolfworthy which he seems to like though still has to be encouraged with bits of meat
I have no such problem as if it fits in Biddys mouth she will eat it
I just want to make sure I am giving her good food
From what I can see Wolfworthy is a good 80/20 of meat and veg but still not sure if it it is really that good

AllAboutDogFood give it an 82% rating, which is very good: Wolfworthy 80/20 Review & Rating I wouldn't regard it as being in any way equivalent to raw - that's marketing speak. But if frozen raw is impossible, then it's a very good option.

You say it won't be possible to feed raw - we managed to go away for a week with Jasper taking all his meat in a freezer bag and transferring as much as we could in the small freezer compartment of our holiday cottage. If the meat is stored in blocks, all in together, it takes an age to defrost. Biddy won't have so much food, but you could put it in a freezer bag in ice blocks and if you have access to a fridge, it should be fine.

Of course, if you'll be in a caravan or tent, or will only have a tiny fridge that has to cater for humans too, you can ignore the above!

Wolfworthy is a decent food, it is high in meat so might be a bit rich for her but give it a go. I'd suggest you try it before your holiday though, you don't want to discover it gives her any problems once you are away.

Thanks Judy but we staying in various hotels (all dog friendly but has been a nightmare to arrange) So food is posing a problem. As long as we feed her with decent food I will be happy
