I got a phone call earlier from the mother of a lady who fosters kittens for the RSPCA. The fosterer had had to go away at a moments notice on a family crisis & had no choice but to leave the 3-4 week old kitten she was fostering. The ladys mother wasn't able to manage so hence the rather panicky phone call to me.

I went round & collected "Norman" :b who is now installed in my front room on a heat pad. He is a tubby little thing & loves his milk, he latches on to the teat on the bottle & doesn't stop till it's all gone. I'm going to try him on kitten food tomorrow as he had a little chomp on my thumb earlier & those teeth are like little needles so I reckon he may be ready for solid food.

Rafferty is once again obsessed with the kitten, even when he's asleep & not even visible under all his blankets. Raffy just lies next to the cage & whines softly every now & then :clown:

Hebe hasn't even noticed & Scrumpy was far more interested in the selection of soft toys that came with Norman

Awwww, bless :huggles:

He looks a feisty little chap

Oh Bless, look at him :huggles:

(w00t) Norman is gorgeous   ...and so is Rafferty  , great name too!!!

Awww   so cute...good luck with Norman.. :luck:

4 hour feeds (w00t) ahhhhhh I just don't do early mornings but this little chap needs to eat so no choice.

I'm going to stay up tonight as long as I can, play on here for a while, read a book, watch TV, whatever. I'm much better at late nights than early mornings so Norman is going to have to get used to a lie in as from tomorrow -_-

I reckon if I do his last feed at around 1.30-2ish then i'm sure he'll last out till at least 7. He's a greedy little sod & drinks loads at a sitting so shouldn't starve to death if I grab an extra half hours sleep tomorrow morning.

He's lovely but I hope the foster mum comes back soon :- "
