I've been trying to find enough courage to view it but by your reaction, I know it's going to be way too nasty to watch. I don't get anywhere near enough sleep as it is , if I watch I know i will lay awake feeling so angry and upset over that poor dog.

Stormy, please don't keep using the C word, that is really the most offensive word in the English language and your post will disappear as soon as a moderator sees it anyway.

I too haven't felt able to watch the video clip. I find that the older I get, the more things upset me, particularly relating to animal cruelty and abuse.

There is so much animal cruelty in so many countries (including this country) that I really despair of the so-called human race.

don't watch it,the screaming from the dog is too awful,makes me feel like crying and i'm not prone to tearfulness at all.

well im with you lot on this too.as ive got older ive got a lot less tougher where animal cruelty is involved and i get so upset now that at times i lie awake at night thinking of the things ive seen over the years and some of the images i cant get out of my mind.i used to do fundraising for animal charities and we used to take pictures and leaflets with us to try to show folk what we were raising funds for.i cant tell you on here about some of the stories ive read and some of the pictures ive seen but in those days i could look at them,they just made me angry and determined to do more to help animals. :angry: now as i get older i too despair of the world.its very depressing cos you know its not getting better,its getting worse.

in the sun newspaper today they have put up a £1000 reward to catch 3 lads aged between 15-18 who took a dog up to the 12th floor of a tower block dragged it through a window where it fell 150ft to its death, it didnt die straight away, these lads drove off laughing, it also says you can see where the dog tried to scrabble for safety leaving paw marks visable on the glass, :rant: :rant: :rant: when they catch them i think the same thing should be done to them,

I would be interested to know if there are any statistics, but it occurs to me that crimes like this usually seem to be carried out by lads. I wonder what others on K9 think.

Certainly the use of abusive language should be avoided. Cruelty according to "Collins Concise Dictionary Of the English Language" is "deliberate infliction of pain or suffering, a threat to bodily or mental health" I assume this definition applies to humans and animals and as I pointed out before raises the question of shooting partridge, fishing and rabbiting. So think on. Is it the Jains who avoid stepping on ants?. Stephen

Having the clip removed will not solve anything.

We are not sadists for looking at the clips either. I just want to know what goes on. I dont bury my head in the sand.

LISTEN HEAR GOODY FUKN 2 SHOES.....I REACTED TO WHAT IVE SEEN AS NORMAL BEHAVIOUR IN SPAIN...I SPENT 2 NIGHTS IN A SPANISH PRISON FOR BASHING A GUY AND HIS MATE FOR BURNING A CATS TAIL OFF WITH LIGHTER FLUID . NOT ONE OTHER OF THE LOCALS DONE FUK ALL TO STOP IT..INFACT ONE PERSON CHEERED THEM ON ! SPAIN DOESNT GIVE A FLYING SUNTANNED FUK ABOUT ANIMALS....DONT FALL UNDER ITS SPELL AND THINK IT DOES.

IF IT DID THEY WOULDNT BE KILLING "DRUGGED AND TIRED" BULLS FOR FUN. WHEN THAT STOPS ILL THINK AGAIN.

I watched about 15 seconds of the clip ,,,It haunted me for the rest of the day :'( I told my hubby not to look at it and he hasn't .

Im going to Spain in 2 weeks time, and dreading seeing anyone hurting cats/dogs as I know myself and John will jump in and help. I could not stand back and watch what that bastard did to his GSD :rant: and im sure John would have gave him a good kicking.
